Passenger

Image
Hello Everyone, It´s Friday again and I am bringing you a new review. Today I am going to be talking about Passenger by Alexandra Braken, a book that I´ve love from the first ´til the last page and which of course had a 5 out of 5 stars. First of all, I have to say that before Passenger I hadn´t read anything by Alexandra Braken and it´s been a discovery. I am really looking forward to start reading The Darkest Minds series as soon as I purchased it and as soon as I finish a couple of the other series that I am currently reading. But going back to Passenger, I have to say that is amazing. The book start so strong and I was afraid that due that it would be a huge disappointment but, no! The rhythm of the book is just perfect. It goes fast when it needed to be and it goes slow when necessary and that makes the story so unique. Besides I just have to say two words: time-travel and pirates (even though they are legal pirates). The story is narrated in third person but fr

First Quarter of the Year Favorite Books

Image
So as today is the end of March and the end of the first quarter of the year I am bringing you my favorite books I read or reread during the course of these 3 months. I will be doing this for each quarter of the year to make it easy to choose my favorite books of the year. I got the idea from PreuseProject and I leave the link right here so all of you can see her video. So until now I´ve read a total of 39 books. Considering that my goal for the year was to read 50 I am quite ahead of schedule. However I am going to do a list with all the books I´ve read and then tell you which ones are my top 10 for this quarter. The Angel´s Promise by Frederic Lenoir and Violet Cabesos The Selection by Kiera Cass The Elite by Kiera Cass The One by Kiera Cass Déjame quererte by Jud Baltimore The Martian by Andy Weir Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Wrap up March 2016

Image
Before I started to talk about my wrap up I will like to say that I will still posting on Fridays and I will try to posted as well on Wednesdays if college is not keeping me to busy, cause my few vacation days are over now. And as I previously say I will try to post other days besides those two if I do have time. But with no further do let´s go with the wrap up. This month I´ve read I huge amount of books; actually I would say that is the most I’ve read in my entire life in just one month.  This March I´ve read 21 books and I´ve read all the books I meant to. So I am going to start talking about these books now because otherwise this is going to be such a long post. The Strain by Guillermo del Toro and ChuckHogan The Strain was the first book I completed during this month and I was entertain at reading it but it wasn´t my favorite book. As I said on its review it’s a book that doesn´t tell anything. You can see my full review on this book by clicking on the title. I gave

Clockwork Princess

Every single time I end a Cassandra Clare book series I go through the same emotion. What could I possibly read to go over it? As I wrote this post, the tears stays with my just because all that I´ve just read in Clockwork Princess. I am speechless, and that is not something I say often. This book deserves an entire constellation of stars as mark. It is not just a book with a beautiful writing style and an amazing story full of characters well developed, and the fair amount of action and romance. Is a book that also shows the progression as a writer that Cassandra Claire has gone through. So as I was saying I would give this book an entire constellation of stars as punctuation if I could. Sadly Goodreads only allows us to give 5 stars and that´s what I ended up giving all over again to this book. I think is pretty obvious that I love this book and in the past reviews have been settled that I also love Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince (you can see both reviews by clicking i

Clockwork Prince

So as I said I´ve been doing a re-read of all the Cassandra Clare books in order to review them and being able to do full reviews. And once again I have to say that I am fully ashamed of myself for forgetting how much I loved these books for such a long time. I forgot how all the characters fits into the story so perfectly and how I can laugh in the middle of a dramatic moment cause Will, Tessa or even Henry made a comment that made my day. Reading Clockwork Prince took me a little more than expected cause I´ve been devoted to the multi-reading thing, which I am going to leave now for a while, and my mom just bought me a book I´ve been meaning to read for such a long time and I have to stop all my other readings to read that one. However, that I stopped for a couple of days didn´t mean that I wasn´t enjoying or loving this book. In fact I completely fell for it all over again. I was captivated for the story from the very first page of it. I love how Will goes into the cemete

Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice

Image
Yes, I know this is not a book but i really need to talk about it. And actually is based on a comic that is kind of a book so let´s go with it. First of all, you need to know that I am huge nerd when it comes to superheroes movies and shows. Ever since the Avenger’s movies first came out I haven´t miss a premiere (and Capitan America Civil War premieres on my birthday. Actually all Marvel movies tend to premiere around my birthday. That´s how much Marvel loves me). Regarding the TV shows I watch all of them: Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Agents of Shield… So I know very well the mythology that surrounds this world. And yes, I have realized that I mentioned DC and Marvel´s all together. So obviously I was expecting to love Batman vs Superman and that´s not what happened. I do no hate the movie but I do hate some characters and surprisingly, Lex Luthor is not one of them. I hated Batman, every time he opened his mouth I want to punch him. Batman was such an ass

The Taylor Swift Book Tag

Image
Hello Everyone, I do not know if I´ve ever said this but I love BookTube therefore I bring today an old tag that I’ve been seeing in all the channels I follow: The Taylor Swift Book Tag. This tag was created by TheBookLife so click on her name and see her video. The idea of this Tag is to relate books to a Taylor Swift song. I love Taylor Swift and I do LOVE books more than anything in the world so let´s get started. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together For this I have to pick a book or book series I thought I was in love with but then I decided I wanna break up with. For this one I have two book series. The first one is The Chronicles of Narnia; I really thought I was going to love this series cause the movies are awesome but I really don´t like the books I was not able to enjoy the reading at all. In fact I like better the books that were not turn into a movie that the ones that were turn into movie. I want to break up this series so bad. The other one I
