The Name of the Book

¡Hola! Este año tengo menos vacaciones que otros años, porque la vida adulta empieza a ser una realidad. De cualquier manera, he pensado que sería interesante contaros qué libros me llevo de vacaciones. La idea era llevarme libros grandes para llevarme menos que otros años, pero soy masoquista y, como tengo espacio de sobra, pues al final me llevo muchos libros grandes. Ya os contaré en septiembre qué tal me ha ido y, cuántos de estos libros he leído.  Jonathan Strange & Mr.Norrel de Susanna Clarke La verdad es que de este libro sólo sé que es de fantasía y qué es gigante. No quiero mirar mucho para llevarme la sorpresa cuando lo lea. Creo que tiene que ver con un par de magos que son rivales, pero tampoco me hagáis mucho caso. Hola a Tod@s: Este mes ha sido mi cumpleaños, como puede que haya mencionado ya alguna vez. Este año he tenido mucha suerte porque, por fin, después de 21 años he conseguido que me regalen libros. Ya os iré diciendo cuales según vaya reseñándolos, pero de momento todos los que he leído me han encantado y, uno que me ha parecido increíble es El Ruiseñor de Kristin Hannah. El Ruiseñor nos cuenta la historia de dos hermanas que se ven afectadas por la Segunda Guerra Mundial y a su manera ambas son heroínas.  Es una historia atípica, porque muchas veces nos olvidamos de que no solo los hombres fueron a la guerra. Las mujeres también sufrieron las consecuencias y, en el caso de estas dos hermanas ayudaron a los Aliados en las maneras en las que pudieron. Y no solo es lo bien escrito que esta el libro, porque el estilo de la autora es precioso, sino que la historia está muy bien contada. La señora Hannah es capaz de hacerte sentir ternura al mismo tiempo que estas horrorizad...

Hello Everyone, I might have mentioned that this month it´s been my birthday and besides the fact that I get to celebrate with all my friends in a very funny night, I am so happy because after 21 years of living in this planet I get books for my birthday. One of the books I get is actually the one I am going to be talking  about today: The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. Honestly. I can only say good things about this book. The writing style is amazing. It is done in such way that you are able to feel so tender but ate the same time being horrified by all the things that happened during the World War II. The good thing about this book is how good the two main characters are portrayed. Both of Rosignol sisters are very strong women, but they were not like that when the book started.
