The Name of the Book

Hey guys! Another Monday I am ready to tell you about my readings and today I will be talking about the first audiobook that I heart in English: Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller. I have been meaning to read this book for a while but never finding a paperback I have been refraining myself from buying it. At the end I have started a Scribd subscription and it was the first title I decided to listen to. I do no regret it. The story was entertaining and while in the beach it was perfect to be picturing ships and pirates. Plus, the narrator was great. This is not the first audiobook I heard, but those that I have listen were told in Spanish which is my mother tongue. In this book we follow Alosa, who is the daughter of the Pirate King himself. She has to infiltrate in an enemy ship in order to find a part of map that will lead the pirates to Isla de Canto. The island is a siren realm in which they keep riches from past ages.   So Alosa infiltrates the Nightfar

Hey Guys! It´s time for a new review and today I would like to talk about the final book in the Illuminae Files trilogy: Obsidio. I read the two first instalments of the trilogy last year and they were fun, however I considered the first to be better than the first. This review will be spoiler free with regard this book however as it´s the third instalment you will find spoilers for the first and second book. Hey guys! Here I am bringing a new review all the way to your screens. Today I will be talking about one of the books that I brought with me to my vacations and that unfortunately disappointed me very much even when I do not consider the book to be bad or poorly written. The novel that I will be discussing today I Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell and certainly you can expect that I will write a review of the Tv show as soon as I am done with it. So, this book is the story of Mr. Norrell and Jonathan Strange, as I imagine you can gather from the title. And it’s about how this two people try to restore the magic, which have disappeared from England from the last 300 years. And barely anything else can be said about the book because few things happens despite the book having over 1000 pages. As I have said I am disappointed by the book because I was expecting so much more. I really don’t know why because the reviews that I have read are mixed and there is not really an agree

¡Hola! Otro sábado llega y una nueva reseña también lo hace. En esta ocasión os quiero hablar de una de mis lecturas playeras, un libro de fantasía escrito por Raquel Suarez Quintana. Se trata de La Hija del Roble, la primera parte de la bilogía Crónicas de la Bruja publicada por Ediciones Labnar, a quienes aprovecho para dar las gracias por el envío del ejemplar. En este libro conocemos la historia de Eva una joven bruja que ha ocultado su magia toda su vida por temor. Siempre le han dicho que la magia no es buena, que trae problemas. ¡Hola! Hoy os traigo la reseña del primer libro que he leído en el mes de agosto: Las Supervivientes de Riley Sager. Este libro lo encontré por casualidad un día mientras daba una vuelta por El Corte Inglés, me llamó la atención, pero había sido fuerte y había pasado sin comprar el libro. Entonces llegó mi madre y lo compró por mi. En este libro conocemos la historia de Quincy Carpenter, una estudiante universitaria que fue la única superviviente de una masacre en la que todos sus amigos fueron asesinados. Por ello entra en el infame club de Las Últimas Chicas junto con Lisa y Sam. Las tres son las chicas que, como en las películas de miedo, aguantan vivas hasta el final de la película: no es un club al que quieran pertenecer. Quincy, ha sido capa de rehacer su vida o, eso cree, porque cuando una de las otras chicas aparece muerta, las cosas que creía enterradas en el pasado resultan no estarlo tanto. Hey guys! As I promised I am back and this time I will   be talking about a book that completely blew my mind: The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang. I know that at first the title of the book might seem funny as my friend Alicia have pointed out several times by now. But trust me this book is not funny but is everything you need if you love to read fantasy. In fact I did a review about this book in Spanish urging my language-mates to learn English if only to read this book. As I have said this is a fantasy book and I think it will be the perfect read for all the Brandon Sanderson lovers as well as for all the Patrick Rothfuss lovers. ¡Hola! Este año tengo menos vacaciones que otros años, porque la vida adulta empieza a ser una realidad. De cualquier manera, he pensado que sería interesante contaros qué libros me llevo de vacaciones. La idea era llevarme libros grandes para llevarme menos que otros años, pero soy masoquista y, como tengo espacio de sobra, pues al final me llevo muchos libros grandes. No quiero mirar mucho para llevarme la sorpresa cuando lo lea. Creo que tiene que ver con un par de magos que son rivales, pero tampoco me hagáis mucho caso.
