The Name of the Book

Hola, Como os prometía la semana pasada en el resumen de lecturas del mes de mayo os traigo la reseña del último libro de la serie de Charlotte Holmes: A Question of Holmes.  Este fue uno de los libros que me regalaron por mi cumpleaños y, uno de los que más ganas tenía de leer. Empecé a leer esta saga hace cosa de un año porque como sabréis soy una apasionada de todo lo que tiene que ver con Shelock Holmes. La verdad es que el primer libro me sorprendió bastante, sobre todo por el elemento de "thriller" en una novela juvenil. Lo habitual es que el thriller esté reservado a las novelas de adultos, pero esto fue una sorpresa muy grata en todos los sentidos.  Evidentemente habiéndome gustado tanto la primera novela, A Study in Charlotte, decidí continuar con The Last of August, que también me sorprendió de una manera muy grata, como también lo hizo la tercera parte, The Case for Jamie. ¡Hola! Otro finde con multiples reseñas está aquí y, parece que se está convirtiendo en la norma, pero no os acostumbréis porque mis planes lectores para el mes que viene incluyen muchos libros muy grandes y dudo que me de tiempo a mantener este ritmo, pero de ilusiones se vive. Volviendo al tema importante, hoy os quiero hablar de A Case for Jamie, que es el tercer libro en la serie Charlotte Holmes, que como sabréis si llevais un tiempo siguiendo el bog, me encanta. Como de costumbre aunque esta vaya a ser una reseña libre de spoilers en relación al libro, a tratarse del tercero os aviso de que puede que encontreis algún spoiler de A Study in Charlotte o de The Last of August . Hey guys! It´s Monday and that means that a new review is coming your way! Today I will be talking about one of my absolutes passions in life: Sherlock Holmes. In this case I will be talking about a retelling of the stories that Sir Arthur Connan Doyle. A few months ago, I read A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro and completely fell for the book. So, when my birthday came I could only ask for the next books in the series. Of course, as soon as the book came into the mail I had to read it as soon as I got it. A Study in August is the second instalment in the Charlotte Holmes series. So as this book is the second in a series this review might contain some spoilers regarding the first book. Hey guys! Another Monday here I am! If you have been following the blog for a while you sure know that I am a huge Sherlock fan. So, when I heard that there was a retelling of those books I just needed to read it. I first heard about A Study in Charlotte in Hayley in Brookland BookTube channel and I knew I had to read this book. A Study in Charlotte is a book written by Brittany Cavallaro in which we follow Charlotte Holmes and Jamie Watson. They are the great-great-great-children of the original Sherlock and Watson. They met in America when they are both in the same boarding school. And as it can be expected Sherlock and Watson start an investigation when one of their classmates is murdered. I was really happy when I read this book, mostly because I really enjoyed it and also because this book was shockingly similar to sir Arthur Conan Doyle´s writing.
