The Name of the Book

Hello guys, This might be the last post for a while. I am moving to Germany and I don´t know how long is going to take me to settle thing up. Let´s hope won´t take long but, any way let´s go for the thing we are all interested in: books. Today I am going to be talking about the second book in the Outlander series: Dragonfly in Amber. I am warning you that it would be spoiler free if you have read or watched the first season of the show, otherwise you will be spoiled. Diana Gabaldon puso el listón muy alto con el primer libro de la seria Claire Randall y, la verdad es que con el segundo o subió aún más. Esta autora ha sido capaz de crear una ficción única, mezclando algunos elementos de fantasía, con mucha ficción histórica y unos personajes increíbles, haciendo que no podamos hacer otra cosa que devorar un libro tras otro. Esta es una reseña sin spoilers de Atrapada en el Tiempo, pero os vais a encontrar con bastantes spoilers de Forastera , el primer libro de la saga, de manera que si no habéis leído el libro o visto la primera temporada de la serie, os recomiendo que paréis de leer esta reseña y, si estáis interesados en el tema, leáis mi reseña de Forastera (que podéis encontrar pinchando en el título del libro). Hello guys, It´s been a while since i last talk about shadowhunters in the blog, at least in English, and  really want to have reviews for all of this books so I thought it would be a good idea to do it now, especially because I am on vacation and I think, summer it´s a great moment to read anything you like. And since I love fantasy so much I figurate it out that everyone must love read fantasy. So going on with my re-read of The Mortal Instruments series I read City of Ashes, the second book on the series. This review is going to be spoiler free regarding this book, but most likely you will find some spoilers of the first book, so if you haven´t read that one yet here is my review of that one. Ciudad de los Ángeles Caídos, es para mí, sin lugar a ninguna duda el peor libro de Cassandra Claire. Y todos los que hayáis estado siguiendo el blog sabréis de sobra que me duele decir esto porque sabéis que ADORO a la señora Claire como autora. Antes de empezar a releer el libro estuve intentando recordar algo de lo que pasaba y, la verdad es que no recordaba nada. Ahora después de leer el libro, entiendo porque no recordaba nada. ¡No pada absolutamente nada! Que sí, que entiendo que es un libro de transición y, que hay que buscar un nuevo malo malísimo para los dos últimos libros, pero es que, mi edición tiene 395 páginas en las que no pasa nada, exceptuando las ultimas 90 y, lo digo de manera literal. Solo pasa algo en las últimas páginas. En este libro no hay crecimiento de los personajes, de hecho en más de una ocasión he llegado a pensar que iban como los cangrejos: hacia atrás. Tampoco ayuda que uno de mis personajes favoritos, sea de nuevo relegado al olvido. Creo que

Hola a Tod@s:  Hoy escribo fuera de mi horario habitual de publicación en castellano para haceros un anuncio que espero que os haga tanta ilusión como a mi. Voy a empezar un club de lectura con Noe del blog Entre páginas y letras ,  que podéis visitar pinchando en el nombre del Blog. Noe y yo empezamos a hablar por Twitter y, la cosa surgió y lo hemos estado planeando desde entonces. La idea es leer cada mes un libro de un genero distinto, empezando en Septiembre con El (sin)sentido del amor de Javier Ruescas un autor español que a las dos nos gusta mucho.  Hemos decidido que nuestro Club de Lectura se llamará Between de Pages of the Lost Library y podéis uniros a nosotras en Facebook, donde al final de cada mes haremos un Live Show en el que comentaremos el libro que hemos leído y las cosas que vayan surgiendo. You guys know that I read quite a few books a month. And sure you know that I love fantasy. And you will also know that finding a decent fantasy book whether it´s epic fantasy, high fantasy or urban fantasy is hard, so you will also know that finding a great book it´s much harder. The Fray Theory: Resonance, it´s the first installment in a new trilogy by Nelou Keramati and it´s a GREAT urban fantasy book. What am I even saying? This book it’s the best urban fantasy and fantasy in general th at I´ve read in a very long time –not taking into account my constant rereads of my favorite books. Yeah, I am not crazy or anything, but honestly guys, this book it´s that good. I mean at the end of the year there is a great chance that this book make it to my favorites of the year and maybe even of all times. And it´s just a debut novel so it´s likely that Nelou Keramati will grow as an author and her next books will be even better, if that´s possible because this book is just perfect.

Aunque esta reseña llega un poco tarde por mi absoluta falta de tiempo, no quería no hablar de este libro, porque la verdad es que estaba como loca por leerlo: llevaba esperándolo desde que lo anunciaron. Aunque intentaré que haya pocos spoilers y, si los hay, avisare de ello, para que quienes quieran leer el libro sin ningún conocimiento lo sepa; en esta reseña habrá spoilers de los 7 anteriores libros de Harry Potter. La verdad es que como ya he dicho estaba deseando leer este libro, porque siempre tengo mono de Harry Potter, ¿qué le voy a hacer? Soy una yonkie. He leído algunas críticas muy malas y, he leído otras muy positivas. La verdad es que yo tiro más hacia los segundos, pero si bien es cierto que uno de los principales defectos que achacan los primeros a este libro, es cierto: es como un fanfiction, oficial sí, pero fanfiction al fin y al cabo. Hello guys, This past month has been crazy and you know it. My schedule have been terrible and a have very little spare time; and the few I did have I use it to sleep whether I wanted to or not. That´s why the post had been arriving not on its usual days and I have been reading so little, just 8 books. However this month is not going to be better regarding my reading time, mostly because on the 29 th I am leaving to Germany where I will be studding this semester. So I have to prepare so many things, that I done even know where to start. But I will worry about later on. So let’s go with my wrap up. As usual if I have a review for any of the books I am talking about will be linked and you can check it out by clicking on its title. City of Glass by Cassandra Clare This month had a very good reading started. It was a rereading but I really enjoyed, I think that even more than the first time I read it. This book could easily be the conclusion for The Mortal Instruments

Al contrario de lo que cabría esperar, este mes de Julio no he leído tanto como me gustaría haberlo hecho. Pensaba que el trabajo me iba a quitar bastante menos tiempo pero me quita más del esperado y, en el poco tiempo libre que tengo estoy tan cansada que me dedico a dormir lo quiera o no. De manera que durante este mes de Julio he leído un total de 8 libros, como si estuviera en época de exámenes. Como siempre, si el libro del que estoy hablando tiene una reseña la podéis encontrar pinchando en su título. Ciudad de Cristal de Cassandra Clare El mes empezaba bien, con una relectura. Para ser fieles ala verdad fue una grata sorpresa porque recordaba un poco del libro, pero no recordaba que me hubiese gustado tanto. 5 estrellas para un libro, que bien podría ser una conclusión por su final cerrado, pero que sin embargo no lo es y, simplemente es el comienzo de algo más largo. En caso de que estéis interesados en pensamientos más coherentes y organizado
